Pep Launchpad operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products, and services, to provide you, the customer, with a curated wholesale shopping experience (the “Services”). Our storefront and checkout run on our own WordPress/WooCommerce site hosted on our own infrastructure. Payment is completed through manual payment methods you select, and orders are held for review and manual approval by our team before fulfillment. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information when you visit, use, or make a purchase using the Services or otherwise communicate with us. If there is a conflict between our Terms and Conditions and this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy controls with respect to the collection, processing, and disclosure of your personal information.
By using and accessing any of the Services, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy and understand the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described here.
Personal Information We Collect or Process
“Personal information” means information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to you or another person. It does not include information collected anonymously or de-identified so it cannot be reasonably linked to you. Depending on how you interact with the Services and where you live, we may collect or process:
- Contact details — name, billing address, shipping address, phone number, and email address.
- Discord identity — the Discord username you provide at checkout, used to link your order to your community account and for order communication.
- Financial and payment information — transaction details, your selected form of payment, and the proof-of-payment confirmations you upload (e.g., screenshots of receipts from Zelle, Cash App, or bank transfer). We do not process or store card or financial account numbers through our checkout; payments are made directly through the third-party methods you select.
- Proof-of-payment uploads — images or documents you submit to confirm payment, processed by an automated (AI-assisted) verification step that reads and validates the receipt before a team member reviews it.
- Account information — username, password, security questions, preferences, and settings.
- Transaction information — items you view, add to cart, purchase, return, exchange, or cancel, and past transactions.
- Communications with us — information you include when contacting support or interacting with us through our Discord community.
- Device information — device, browser, or network details, IP address, and other unique identifiers.
- Usage information — how and when you interact with or navigate the Services.
Personal Information Sources
- Directly from you — when you create an account, use the Services, complete checkout, upload proof of payment, or communicate with us;
- Automatically — from your device and through cookies and similar technologies;
- From our service providers — including our hosting provider, receipt-validation provider, and fulfillment provider;
- From our partners or other third parties.
How We Use Your Personal Information
Provide, Tailor, and Improve the Services. To perform our contract with you, process and verify payments, fulfill orders, remember preferences, send account notifications, manage your account, arrange shipping, and handle returns and exchanges — including validating uploaded proof of payment and holding your order until payment is confirmed.
Payment Verification. We use uploaded proof of payment, including an automated (AI-assisted) first-pass review, to confirm payment before an order is released. Final approval is performed by our customer support team.
Security and Fraud Prevention. To authenticate accounts, secure payments and shopping, and detect or act on fraudulent, illegal, unsafe, or malicious activity. You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe.
Communicating with You. To provide support and maintain our business relationship, including through email and Discord.
Marketing and Advertising. To send marketing and promotional communications by email or text, including based on prior purchases or cart activity.
Legal Reasons. To comply with law or valid legal process, participate in litigation, and enforce our terms and policies.
How We Disclose Personal Information
- With service providers and third parties performing services on our behalf — hosting provider, receipt-validation provider, your selected payment methods, fulfillment/shipping provider, and providers of IT, analytics, support, and cloud storage.
- With business and marketing partners, in accordance with their own privacy notices.
- When you direct, request, or consent to disclosure, such as to ship products.
- With affiliates within our corporate group.
- In connection with a business transaction (merger, bankruptcy), to comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, and protect our rights and those of our users.
Use of Third-Party Service Providers
Our storefront, checkout, proof-of-payment uploads, and order processing run on infrastructure we operate with our hosting provider. Uploaded receipts are processed by an automated receipt-validation provider. Fulfillment and shipping are handled by our third-party logistics provider. Each processes your information under its own privacy practices.
Third-Party Websites and Links
The Services may link to third-party sites, including our Discord community and payment platforms. Review their privacy and security policies; we are not responsible for them. Information you share on public or semi-public venues (e.g., community servers) may be viewable by others. Links do not imply endorsement.
Children’s Data
The Services are intended only for qualified purchasers at least 21 years of age and are not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of majority in your jurisdiction. Parents/guardians may contact us to request deletion. We do not have actual knowledge that we “share” or “sell” personal information of individuals under 16.
Security and Retention
No security measures are perfect, and we cannot guarantee “perfect security.” Information sent to us may not be secure in transit; do not use unsecure channels for sensitive information. We retain personal information as needed to maintain your account, provide Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies. Proof-of-payment uploads are retained as long as needed to verify the transaction and for record-keeping, dispute resolution, and legal compliance.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to: access/know, delete, correct, portability, and to opt out of sale/sharing for targeted advertising. If you visit with the Global Privacy Control signal enabled, we will, depending on your location, treat it as an opt-out for that device and browser (https://globalprivacycontrol.org/). You may opt out of promotional emails via the unsubscribe link; we may still send account/order emails. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights and may need to verify your identity. Authorized agents must provide proof of authorization.
Complaints
Contact us using the details below. Depending on where you live, you may appeal our decision or lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
International Transfers
We may transfer, store, and process your personal information outside your country. Transfers out of the EEA or UK rely on recognized mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses, unless to a country deemed to provide adequate protection.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will post the revised version, update the “Last updated” date, and provide notice as required.
